About Goloboy CPA
ANDREW GOLOBOY
Andrew Goloboy, founder and managing partner of Goloboy CPA LLC,
has 20 years of experience as an accountant and business
consultant. He launched Goloboy CPA in 2005 after several years
of partnership with a Boston-based regional accounting and tax firm.
Andrew cut his accounting teeth with two of the Big Four accounting
firms, sharpening his skills while auditing public and emerging
companies and preparing financial forecasts and cost analyses. He
later served as an independent financial consultant, working with
budgets that ranged from $1.5 million to $15 million.
After earning his MBA, cum laude, from Babson College, Andrew
spent several years as a financial consultant and business development
manager with SAP America in Waltham.
He furthered his business and software management skills at IDC
Research, Inc., where he developed detailed growth forecasts, competitor
analyses and application trends for a number of markets, including
accounting and human resources.
As managing partner of Goloboy CPA, Andrew now blends his deft
CPA skills with his deep background in technology strategy, information
systems and product management.
In addition to his MBA, Andrew holds a bachelors degree in
economics from Amherst College. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Massachusetts
Association of CPAs and is a licensed Life and Health Insurance
Broker.
He is active in the Boston entrepreneurial community, sponsoring
the 128 Innovation Capital Group and the WPI Venture Forum, where he serves on the program committee. Andrew
also has volunteered his time as treasurer of several non-profits,
including the Sharon Education Foundation, the Bristol Chamber Orchestra
and Work in Progress, a college internship network. He previously served
on the board of Temple Sinai in Sharon.
The son of an accountant, Andrew lives in Sharon, Mass., with his
wife, Joan, and two children. When not advising clients, he can
be seen shuttling his kids among various sports and musical activities.
